Targhee Fest lineup over-the-top!

(Published by Planet JH Weekly)Targhee Fest went from announcing a great initial lineup to adding a few more heavy hitters to what is set to be a tremendous three-day smorgasbord of roots-rock, Southern grit, Americana, and much more. The Mother Hips, Sarah Jarosz, Alejandro Escovedo, and the legendary Allen Toussaint appear to have been added most recently to a lineup that includes headliners Los Lobos, Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers, and break-through band Alabama Shakes alongside alt-country veterans Son Volt, New Orleans rocker Anders Osborne, John Hiatt & The Combo, Holly Williams, Sister Sparrow, David Alvin & the Guilty Men, The Wood Brothers, JJ Grey & Mofro, and Hooligans. Whew! Killer.And returning to old stomping grounds where they used to play quite regularly, including some New Year’s Eve shows, Moses Guest will play a late night show with Bread & Circus on Friday in the Trap Bar ($10).
