Western AF song premiere, two new live videos

NEW SoNg + NeW ViDeO for “You Bet (the Catalyst Blues)" // Live capture for Western AF’s “307 Days” — 7 songs in a week from Wyoming singer-songwriters. Damn good fun to work with the talented fellas behind the cameras at Western AF and Square State Film to capture this unreleased song in the street configuration. We stripped it back from the pedalboards and amps, Mike air cranked a $30 melodica that we all tuned sharply to, scored a bass fiddle on lend (thanks Shawn Hess), and enjoyed the chance to unplug and listen to the room shape the sound. This is definitely a quarantine song that came to be like the wind and without a fight. Be sure to check out the other artists in the 307 Days — really inspiring to hear all of them.

The 2nd live video, an experimental version of "Zemurray" from the Gryphon Theatre in Laramie last fall, also just posted on the video page. That song has taken me on some wild rides and this version is no different.
