World’s most authentic bluegrass band?

(this piece was published by Planet JH Weekly)When I contemplate my favorite (and arguably the most authentic) bluegrass bands in the current scene, Del McCoury Band is the cream if the crop. Being that it’s a family affair—Del on rhythm guitar alongside sons Ronnie and Robbie on mandolin and banjo respectively—makes for a warm and fuzzy feeling that ices the cake.
