But they also have original music, dubbed Grood Music, blending emotive rock with electronic beats. The progressive stamp is still inked with a David Byrne-inspired delivery and inviting production.Supporting this triple bill are two fresh local projects with original spins—Black Mother Jones (BMJ) and Madelaine. Black Mother Jones is, well, Whiskey Mornin’ less one member. BMJ sheds the cover band motif in favor of penning their own Southern-edged, power-chord heavy, garage band rock that comes off as loose and energetic.Madelaine will kick-off the night with original jazz-pop lounge music.
