Ryan Bingham to play Pink Garter June 4

ryan-bingham-1It's been a long time coming. Grammy, Oscar and Golden Globe winning alt-country darling Ryan Bingham will make a stop at the Pink Garter Theater with support act The Wild Feathers on Tuesday, June 4th.New Mexico born, Austin-based Bingham is an acclaimed Grammy, Oscar and Golden Globe winning singer-songwriter.  In 2009, Bingham wrote and performed the theme song “The Weary Kind” for the acclaimed film Crazy Heart starring Jeff Bridges.  The delicate track was produced by Grammy-winning producer T Bone Burnett and earned Bingham an Academy Award, Golden Globe Award and Critics' Choice Award for “Best Song” in 2010, as well as a Grammy Award for "Best Song Written for a Motion Picture" in 2011. Bingham's popularity rises from the knack to both pull acoustic heart strings (i.e. "Weary Kind"), and dig into unabashed balls-to-the-wall electrified rock 'n roll, as his latest album Tomorrowland proves. Tickets are available starting March 15 (noon MST) at JadePresents.com, Pinky G’s, The Rose, charge by phone at (877) 435-9849, or online at PinkGarterTheatre.com.
