Three Hearted Recording Studio turns three years old this month and a full remodel seemed like the best way to celebrate. In many ways, this has been fifteen years in the making. I’ve expanded capacity for capturing more robust, latency-free tracking with musicians in the same room, from duoes and trios to full bands. New high-end preamps from Apogee and Great River Electronics, which truly adds depth to any microphone and will be key for acoustic instruments and vocals. A vintage style 1176 outboard compressor will color the tone if desired. A super charged Mac is among the hardware upgrades. Thrilled about upping the game, a more modern approach to analog recording — a better recording experience for artists and musicians.
Upcoming 2020 sessions: Quinn Cerovski (Lander songwriter), Jason Tyler Burton (Pinedale songwriter from KY. Listen to his album Kentuckian that we worked on here at the cabin earlier this year), and a new single from AD & The Mystery Machine? After a fun but busy gigging season (80 shows in 6 months), I’m happy to be focusing band to the studio environment. Currently accepting new projects for winter/spring!
