Boondocks releases live CD, Rocks Wort

"Jackson’s own Americana folk-rock band, Boondocks, is throwing a party to celebrate the release of its new album, Live at the Silver Dollar.
Recorded over two nights in January, Live at the Silver Dollar is a boot-stomping, whiskey-soaked mix of traditional, cover and original songs from singer-songwriters Margo Valiante and Aaron Davis.
Since spring 2006, Boondocks has entertained audiences on both sides of the Tetons with its blend of country-blues and roots rock. The band played to a crowd of about 8,000 people at the Music in the Hole concert on July 4. Davis said he was “a little nervous at first”—it was the biggest crowd he had ever played for—but the gig turned out well. 'To have a captive audience of that many people, you can’t really beat that,' he said."
